The Future of Web Design Conference will be held in London on 17-19 May, 2010. This year the conference will be held at The Brewery, 52 Chiswell Street, on the 18th and 19th May.

The 4 workshops available to choose from are “How to Run a Successful Web Design Business” by Paul Boag, an experience consultant for the web design agency Headscape Ltd.; “Hype” by Joshua Davis, a New York based artist, designer and technologist; “HTML5 and CSS3” by Molly Holzschlag, lecturer and author of over 35 books related to web design and markup; and “Words and Pictures: Copy and the design process” by Relly Annett-Baker, a freelance copy writer with Poppy Copy.

In addition, this year there will be two full days across two tracks. You’ll have the opportunity to hear from the following speakers: Elliot Jay Stocks, designer, illustrator, speaker and author of “Sexy Web Design”; Brendan Dawes, the Creative Director for MagneticNorth; Dan Rubin, a very accomplished user interface designer and usability consultant; Dan Cederholm, founder of SimpleBits and an expert in the field of standards-based Web design; Sarah Parmenter, owner of You Know Who, a small design studio; Bruce Lawson, a member of the Web Standards Project’s Accessibility Task Force; Simon Collison, co-founder of Erskine Design; Robin Christopherson, founding member of AbilityNet; Remy Sharp, a developer and owner of Left Logic; Gavin Strange, a web & graphic designer who goes under the name ‘JamFactory’; Christopher Murphy and Nicklas Persson, “Web Standardistas” authors, and Jon Hicks, web and print designer and partner of Hicksdesign.
